Brendan Methot is a versatile and in-demand multi-instrumentalist who has called Kamloops home since 2000. With a rich musical foundation that includes piano (RCM Grade 9 with theory), bass guitar, drums, and guitar,

 

Brendan has become a mainstay of the local music scene. In previous years he’s performed extensively with well-known acts such as The Dave Coalmine Band, The Nick Fast Band, The Decoys, and The Angie Heinze Band, and has stepped in for groups like Shattered Blue, The Eh! Team, and The Blaine Alexander Project. In addition to being the bass player for the Jeremey Kneeshaw Band, Brendan is also the lead vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist for Handsome Lou, a high-energy band known for their engaging live shows.

Beyond his band work, Brendan fronts a successful solo acoustic project under Brendan Methot Entertainment, where his warm vocals, polished playing, and crowd-pleasing style have made him a favorite at weddings, wineries, pubs, and other private events. He’s played many local and regional venues including The Blue Grotto, The Rock 'n Firkin Pub, Pogue Mahone Irish Pub, Music in the Park in Kamloops, Privato Winery, Tumbleweeds Pub, The Scotch Creek Hub, and the annual CN Holiday Train stage. His performances have also reached audiences in Chase, Salmon Arm, Barriere, and 100 Mile House, along with countless backyard BBQs, anniversary parties, and community events.

Brendan is also half of a high-energy dueling piano show alongside Jeremy Kneeshaw, delivering sing-alongs, laughs, and crowd work in a dynamic, interactive format. On top of it all, he works year-round as a sought-after wedding and event DJ with Solo Entertainment, bringing professionalism, great music, and good vibes to every occasion. Whether performing solo, rocking a stage with his band, or behind the decks at a party, Brendan Methot brings heart, talent, and a deep love for music to everything he does.
